Stephanie Schroy, LMSW, CSW I
Psychotherapist
As a trauma survivor herself, Stephanie struggled to find a therapist who she felt truly could really help her overcome the aftermath of the traumatic event she experienced. She knew what it was like to really need someone who will listen without judgment and truly help her grow and heal on her own terms. Truly understanding the need for genuine support and guidance, Stephanie was determined to make sure others would have the tools needed to empower themselves through traumatic events or other challenges.
Stephanie has a natural ability to connect with people of all backgrounds and lived experiences. Clients like you share that they can tell her their deepest secrets and fears, and never feel judged. Stephanie has a way of empowering clients to accept themselves, and make positive changes in their personal lives. Stephanie enjoys working with young girls and women who have experienced trauma, including violence and sexual abuse. She is trained in trauma-informed therapies, including EMDR, TF-CBT, and Parts & Memory.
Many may not know that: Stephanie used to dream of being an archaeologist. Now, she’s living life with two pups—Luna (from Sailor Moon) and Aegon (yep, Jon Snow from Game of Thrones). Stephanie’s ethnicity is a popular guessing game, with folks throwing out Latin American, Italian, and South Asian as possibilities. But here’s the twist: hardly anyone ever gets it right!

Jessica Taylor, LMFT, NCC
Clinical Supervisor
As a teenager, Jessica could not just sit back and watch her friends struggle with life challenges. She felt empathy, concern, and did not want to see others struggle alone. As a seasoned therapist and clinical supervisor today, Jessica is passionate about helping her clients try new skills, develop new patterns for a healthier lifestyle, overcome traumatic experiences, and have a more positive outlook on life. She loves seeing her clients succeed and finds excitement in the work she does with them. Jessica also has specialized training in treating trauma through EMDR and TF-CBT. Jessica loves teaching and guiding provisionally licensed therapists at A New View Counseling.
Jessica’s approach to therapy is holistic, utilizing the mind, body, and spirit. Clients like you find themselves really enjoying working with Jessica, as they feel validated, and finally able to address their concerns without judgment. Jessica also is an active participant in the therapy room. She wants to see you make progress, and will go the extra mile to ensure that your therapy experience is meaningful.
Many may not know that: Jessica finds peace in being outdoors, where she enjoys hiking, camping, and water activities. As a young child, Jessica never believed she was artistic, as she didn’t paint or draw very well, but as she grew older, she learned that there is more to art than just the basic elementary school art class. She loves creating through sewing, stained glass, and woodworking. Jessica also loves to dance.
